Site Facts: The site is located on the campus of the San Pasqual Academy a 238-acre campus previously operated as a Seventh Day Adventist boarding school for over 40 years—includes family-style homes, an accredited high school, cafeteria, technology and career information center, assembly hall, recreation fields, swimming pool, and an agricultural education program

Construction Materials: Wood-framed structures clad in stucco plaster, painted fiber cement siding, corrugated metal roof, and concrete masonry

Design facts: Completed while project architect at Studio E Architects

Story to tell: The San Pasqual Academy opened in 2001 as the first residential education campus for foster youth in the nation.The Academy provides foster teens a stable, caring home, independent living skills, and a high school diploma. These structures are intended to house foster host families in the upper units while housing the foster students in the lower units
